Rules for Multi Table Tournaments (MTT)

In addition to single table tournaments, Silver Sands Poker also offers multi-table tournaments to all of its players. Multi-table tournaments differ from single table tournament in two important ways: Multi-table tournaments have a set start time and do not have a predetermined number of participants.

Members of Silver Sands Poker are free to register for the tournament from the moment it is announced to the minute it begins. Once the tournament begins, all players are seated at their respective tournament table and action begins. At this point, registration closes.

Registering for a Multi -Table Tournament

To register for multi-table tournaments, you must launch the application and sign in to your account. This will bring you to the Silver Sands Poker lobby. When you click on the 'Multi-Table Tournaments' tab, choose the 'All' option and all upcoming multi-table tournaments will be displayed in the 'Table Details' box.

To see more information on individual tournaments, single click on any of the tournaments and additional information will appear in the 'Player Details' box. If you want to register for an event, double click on the tournament you are interested in and a new window will be opened. Click on the 'Register' button in the new window and you will be asked to confirm your registration.

If you are logged in and a tournament you have registered for begins or is in progress, you will automatically be taken to your tournament table. This is to ensure that you don't forget about any events signed up for in advance.

As players are eliminated from the tournament, tables will be removed and players will be moved to empty seats at the remaining tables. This continues until only one table remains. Play then continues until one player possesses all the chips.
